In “Low Country,” Caro Venable’s perfect world is turned upside down and shown to be what it is- a confection that melts. Lowcountry Boneyard is a mystery worthy of an Agatha Award winner."--Lesa's Book Critiques"For its humor, its characterization, its delightful descriptions of Charleston, and its depiction of southern culture, Lowcountry Boneyard is a first rate novel.

Kudos to Susan /5().Lowcountry Bombshell by Susan B. Moyer is the second novel in her Liz Talbot mystery series. I thought that Lowcountry Bombshell would be a light read (think Janet Evanovich) but I was pleasantly surprised to discover a novel with a well-developed plot, fleshed-out characters and good writing.

There was also a /5().“Lowcountry Bonfire” is a deep and insightful novel that analyzes human nature. Writing in an authentic southern voice, Susan M. Boyer has a deep understanding of the mannerisms and talk of the Southerners including the music and cadence of speech that she expertly puts on the page.
